Partnership refers to an agreement between persons to share their profits or losses arising on account of actions carried by all or one of them acting on behalf of all. The persons who have entered such an agreement are called partners and give their collective business a name, which is necessarily their firm-name. The entity basically functions on mutual trust and faith among the partners in the interest of the firm. Business of the firm may be carried on by all the partners or any one of them acting for all. According to this, every partner is an agent when he is working on behalf of other partners and he is the principal when other partners act on his behalf. A Partnership is defined by the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, as ‘the relation between persons who have agreed to share profits of the business carried on by all or any of them acting for all.
Stage1: Drafting of partnership deed involves the legal analysis and understanding of the agreed terms of the proposed partners. As this is the basic documents it should be drafted very carefully.
Stage 2: Submit application form to The Registrar Of Firms and obtain Registration Certificate.
After obtaining the Registration Certificate, the entity needs to be classified into Trading or Service Industry.
GST Registration – If Applicable

- Professional Tax Registration.
